- Changelog-
___________

version 3.2.61:
  • Featured
  • Revised Icons:    Gpick,Imagemagick, Gmusicbrowser, Cantata, Display settings.
  • Fixes:  Fixed DEB package install error.
  • New Icons:    Visualboy Advanced, Tor, Xmind, DockbarX, Bloglio, Audex, Ktnef, Geogebra, Knoe, Gtali, Gtick, Mirage, Super Tux Kart, tint2, ArgoUML, A Widget Factory, Canopy, Murder Files, Cream, Deepin Software Center, Dogecoin, EagleCAD, Eidete, Fade In, Flareget, Fogger, Gespeaker, Ghex, LDView, Golly, Google Translate, GRUB Customizer, Gummi, Hydrogen drum machine, Hipchat, Intel Installer, IPython, JabRef, Kadu, Kile, Kingsfot Cloud, Lucky Backup, Luminance.

Notes: If the icons don't show up in your menus make sure the .desktop file points to the icon, e.g: Inside Python2.7 .desktop file locate the line Icon= and replace the value with "python" or "python2.7" (without the quotes).
So it looks like this:
  • Icon= python - This looks for the SVG file and uses it.
  • Icon=/usr/share/pixmaps/python3.3.xpm - This forces the ugly pixelated python icon.
This is true for those menu entries/applications that don't display the correct icon even though the icon is indeed available in the Nitrux theme. If it still doesn't display the icon please report it as missing, thanks!.

Hello Devian, good evening, you missed the icons for GoldenDict and some of System Settings and at the grey menubar, the icons were dark. You can see the screenshots. I suggest you create the folders of different colours, so blue doesn't please me.

I use Ubuntu 14.04 Final Beta

Hi!,

Please report issues at our GitHub page, github.com/NitruxSA/nitrux-ico…;that way your requests don't get lost in the comments.

Different folder colors are available as bundles, fav.me/d6yskpu fav.me/d6ysax3 fav.me/d6ys789. They're available here in deviantART or in the Nitrux Store.

The indicator icons have always been dark, the light version of the icons is included in one of the bundles.

Sorry for DVD::Rip, Nvidia settings and Play On Linux, i'm on archlinux, i just had to edit the .desktop to point to the right icon :)
For Calibre, main appli is OK, i was talking about ebook-edit, lrfviewer and ebook-viewer.
For the others, i will report them on your GitHub.

Your icons look really great. I have only a small annoyance with them: The file manager and the terminal icon, being both mostly black, look rather similar when really small, such as when they are placed on a panel or a dock, so it's harder to distinguish between them. Maybe the file manager should be somewhat of a lighter color.

At 16 px and even at 8 px both icons are visibly different, the terminal icon is notably lighter (and beige) and the file manager icon is clearly grey. The Terminal icon is also not black only the Xterm icon is black and even then it still has a big X in a very contrasting color at the front. i.imgur.com/629APnw.png

Nautilus, and PCManFM have different icons available, though you have to edit each .desktop. file to display the included icons.
